Strider Cup Championship rolls into Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - It was not your normal racing scene in downtown Salt Lake today.

The 2017 Strider Cup World Championship took place at the Gallivan Center earlier this afternoon.

Around 380 kids aged 1 and a half to 5 years old participated in the race with 10 different countries that were represented.

The competitors completed the race on Strider Bikes. These bikes do not have any petals, so it was all to the racers' leg power.

When ABC4 Utah arrived, it was the 4 year olds that were racing. The top three finishers were all from Japan.
