SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - Comic book legend Stan Lee makes an appearance at Salt Lake Comic Con Fan Xperience after all.
The 94-year-old Lee had to cancel his personal appearance at this weekend's Fan-X at the Salt Palace because of health problems. But the crowd went wild Saturday when he appeared via Skype to answer questions.
Lee said, “Hey if you guys are annoyed or disappointed that I'm not there, just imagine how I feel. I’ve been looking forward to attending what I think is one of the great cons of all time.” Lee joked that he has come up with a great idea for a new super villain called ‘The Fiendish Mr. Flu’.
FanX has wrapped up for 2017. Organizers believe it has set another record for attendance. Numbers aren't yet available, but it is believed to be in the tens of thousands.
