SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (Good4Utah) - Today is the day all that hard work paid off in the ‘Toys for Tots’ program Good4Utah supports every year.
The joy was everywhere at the warehouse donated by Connor Sport Court. The U.S. Marines, Papa Murphy’s and a ton of other businesses have been collecting thousands of toys for the past few weeks.
Today the kids on the list got to pick them up.
Staff Sergeant Cody Dhose, of the Unaided States Marine Corps, says “It’s amazing. There’s nothing better than to see the smiles and faces. It’s probably one of the best things so far. Unfortunately, back here behind the scenes we don’t get to see it. But every once and a while you get to peek in the front and just see their faces when they’re looking to the toys in back.”
Just think of the difference this program makes. By the end of the day they will have given toys to 10,500 children.
