PROVO, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - The 4th annual Provo Pride Festival celebrated today with members from the community.
Folks gathered at memorial park Saturday morning and spent the day celebrating pride.
People from all over the state showed up for concerts, shops, food, and fun.
Pride in Provo isn't as big as it is in say Salt Lake City. But according to people at the event it is growing because support is growing
Ruben Goite told us, “I feel like this state is very forward and shows a lot of support to the LGBT communities and sometimes it seems like it's not, because of the influence of the church. Bbut a lot has changed throughout the years."
People at the festival say they're glad Provo pride is growing and one day they hope it can be as large as Salt Lake pride.
