WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - It kills four thousand babies in the U.S. each year and many people aren't aware of what it is.
That's why a newly formed organization held its first annual Walk-A-Thon today in West Valley's Centennial Park.
The event helped raise awareness about SIDS, also known as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
The organization, called Nicho's Cause, is named after a baby who died from SIDS two months ago. Nicho's mother founded the group.
The organization helps to provide Owlet Baby Monitors to families.
