ST. GEORGE (News4Utah) - Early Sunday morning a Chevy Uplander was traveling southbound on I-15 in St. George. For some unknown reason, the male driver lost control of the vehicle near exit #8, where it rolled and crashed. He was the only occupant in the vehicle. The vehicle did come to rest on all four wheels.
The driver got out of the vehicle and started walking northbound on the shoulder of the freeway. At mile marker #9, he attempted to cross I-15 from the east side to the west side. He was struck by a Nissan Sentra, traveling southbound. The male was killed on impact.
The driver of the Nissan received minor injuries and was wearing a seatbelt.
The male that was killed is from Mexico and has no family in the state. His name will be released when notification has been made
