First Habitat for Humanity Home Built in American Fork

AMERICAN FORK, Utah (ABC4 News) The first Habitat for Humanity home was unveiled in American Fork Saturday afternoon. 

In front of a large crowd of friends, families and neighbors, the Gundersen family cut the ribbon to their new home, a home built by volunteers from local businesses and partners.

Habitat for Humanity of Utah is a non-profit, interfaith organization with more than 2,300 affiliates internationally. The idea behind their work is to help homelessness and eliminate poverty by building, renovating, and repairing decent, reasonably priced homes with area residents in need of affordable shelter.
