MURRAY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - A 16 year old Utah boy will be dreaming of Ferrari’s and a trip to Italy when he goes to sleep tonight.
Austin Adamson couldn't believe it when he showed up at the make a wish parking lot in Murray.
Shiny Ferrari’s in the parking lot. He loves them. He's dealing with spinal muscular atrophy and his wish was granted. To ride in a Ferrari and then travel to Maranello, Italy to see the Ferrari factory.
He has a simple, positive outlook on life. Austin says, “Do what you love and it doesn’t matter what happens. It will get better.”
This wish took a lot of work from a lot of people, including the former producer of top gear, one of Austin’s favorite TV shows.
Lead organizer, Clarence Habovstak says, “To take a situation that seems hopeless, where your constantly encountering difficulties and hardships you know the way you are physically with your ailment, and really kind of show them that there’s a lot of other people out there that care about him and that there's a lot more out there to enjoy.”
After his wish was granted, Austin got to ride in a Ferrari procession up Parleys Canyon for lunch in Park City.
