Clay shooting competition helps raise money for wounded Vets

BOUNTIFUL, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - A fundraiser was held in the hills above Bountiful on Saturday, but it was something you probably don't often see.

Lots of loud bangs at the Bountiful Lions Range as a clay shooting competition was held to help wounded veterans.

"We teamed up with a charity out of Boise called Limbitless for Veterans without limbs," event organizer Kareena Stokes told Good4Utah. "We're just trying to raise money to do something good for the people who took care of us."

She says they raised a few thousand dollars and they plan to make this an annual event.
