SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - Local artists of all ages gathered at the Salt Lake County Library yesterday for the 1st annual Chalk The Walk Art Festival.
More than 90 artists and teams showed off their skills by decorating six-foot by six-foot squares on the sidewalks.
Those who attended voted on the winners who received cash prizes.
"We have tons of different artists, different styles, different topics people are drawing," said Tayler Allen, event organizer for Chalk The Walk. "We didn't really have any limitations other than just being library appropriate."
The event also featured live music, food trucks and even snow cones.
You can still drop by the library to see the different works of art. They'll be there until the rain washes them away.
