CEDAR CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- A Cedar City teen is in critical condition after a crashing the four-wheeler he was driving on Lund Highway Monday night.
Just after 6 p.m. police say the teen was driving north near 1600 North Lund Highway, a designated OHV route, when he attempted to slow down for a vehicle turning right. That’s when police say he lost control of the four-wheeler and was thrown off the ATV.
At that time a pickup truck heading south collided with the four-wheeler. When emergency crews arrived, they say the 15-year-old was partially under the pickup.
He was eventually flown by air to Dixie Regional Medical Center in critical condition. Investigators say alcohol or drugs do not seem to be a factor.
