ST. GEORGE (ABC4 Utah) - The boyfriend of a Utah man who was killed in Sunday's massacre is looking for the good Samaritans who helped try to save his life.
A viewing is planned fo 28-year-old Cameron Robinson of St. George tomorrow evening in Las Vegas.
Thursday, family shared with ABC4 the loss they're facing, and the quest to find those who risked their own lives trying to save Cameron's.
"We just want to make sure these heroes get their just dues," said Joyce Eardley, the mother of Bobby Eardley.
She's mourning the loss of Cameron Robinson, who she called a son.
"And he just became another son. We had four, and now we had five," said Joyce.
Cameron, Joyce said, was the love of her son Bobby's life.
"Wanted to make sure people knew how great Cameron was. He made it easy to accept and love people unconditionally and non judgmentally," said Joyce.
Bobby and Cameron were at the concert in Las Vegas Sunday evening when the shooting started. Cameron was shot in the neck.
Bobby didn't leave Cameron's side, and neither did complete strangers who rushed to help him, doing CPR on Cameron, and helping to get him to a nearby hospital.
"And the ones you know that took Bobby and Cameron to the hospital, the guy just threw them in the back of his truck and took him. We want to make sure they get their just dues because it was a total community effort on their part," said Joyce.
Joyce is talking today for her son, because Bobby wants more than anything to find those who helped during the tragedy, and hopes they will reach out so he can say thank you.
And he also shared with ABC4 a message.
"On behalf of Bob, he wants all of the other families of victims to know we're not just centered on our loss, we are thinking of their loss and it's something that he wants them to know he's feeling with them, and not just making it about him."
Cameron's viewing is Friday at the Davis Mortuary on Eastern Avenue in Las Vegas. A GoFundMe page is set up to help Cameron's family with expenses
