WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – Two men robbed a K-Mart store late Friday afternoon.

It happened at the stored on 1770 West 4100 South around 4:30 p.m.

Police say employees attempted to stop the men from shoplifting as they were leaving the store.

Police say the two men pulled out hand guns and fired two or three shots in the ceiling.

The suspects ran from the store and got into a silver/ gray Toyota Camry or Corolla. One of the suspects fired another shot as they left the parking lot and went westbound on 4100 South.

The suspects were described as 25-35 year old Hispanic males with medium height/builds.

One wearing a grey shirt and jeans and the other a blue shirt and jeans.
