PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (Good 4 Utah) - A local Utah Kennel named Havoc K9 recently donated a 10 month old German shepherd to the Pleasant Grove Police Department.

Ricki Draper learned that the Pleasant Grove Police Department had a need for a police dog, and being in the business of breeding and raising dogs for police work donated a dog to the Pleasant Grove Police Department free of cost. This dog would normally cost between $5,000 to $10,000.

The Pleasant Grove Police Department is excited about the donation and the dog has just began Drug Detection School at POST this week. The donation was very generous and timely as the departments previous K9 had recently been retired after many years of service. Havoc K9's generous donation will serve the community of Pleasant Grove and Utah County for many years to come. In honor of Havoc K9 the Department has changed the dog's name to "Havoc".
