How Cowboy Culture, Music, and Poetry Are Being Celebrated

Top artists from the Western Music Association are coming to Utah for one night in Tooele to perform on Saturday, January 28. It is the fourth annual event that brings together Western Music Association's top performing singers, songwriters and poets. The event was inspired by a cowboy poet, Tyler Guy, who helps run a family ranch in Grantsville, Utah.

The evening's line up will include WMA's Album of the Year and Female Vocalist Nominee, Trinity Seeley, of Montana; Kevin Davis of Oklahoma; and cowboy poet and storyteller, Jay Snider of Oklahoma.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Tooele Bit & Spur Jr Riding Club, a nonprofit dedicated to sharing the love of horses, riding and sportsmanship, with local youth. Over the last three years, the Western Music and Songwriters Series have donated more than $10,000 to miscellaneous nonprofit organizations benefiting youth riding programs in Tooele County.
