Essential oil company doTERRA is hosting the largest convention in Utah's history. Over 30,000 people are expected to come to the convention to learn about essential oils and doTERRA.
The company says people  are looking to play a more active role in caring for their own health and well-being this day and age.
"While we've seen amazing medical advances in the last 30 years, Americans have never been sicker. And despite longer life spans, for many individuals, quality of life has decreased. Essential oils are leading the way in allowing people to maintain their own health and wellness and the well-being of their loved ones, as well," explained Vice President of Corporate Relations,  Kirk Jowers.
The conference will discuss new scientific studies on the beneficial effects of essential oils. Medical professionals and researchers from some of the most prestigious institutions in the country will speak on the impacts of oils. The company will also talk new products and be share their unparalleled sourcing efforts around the globe. Anyone is welcome to register for the event and attend, and can do so online through the doTERRA webpage.
The economic impact of this  convention is expected to be more than $28.5 million. DoTERRA says that  convention attendees have booked more than 15,500 hotel night rooms, and will consume more than 360,000 meals during their stay.
