'Build Hope' Gala To Benefit Habitat for Humanity

The annual "Build Hope" Gala to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Weber and Davis Counties will take place Saturday, April 11th at 6:00 p.m. at HUB801, 3525 Riverdale Road in Ogden.

The community is invited to get involved by attending the event, or by being an event or table sponsor.

Award-winning songwriter and jazz recording artist Anna Wilson will be the special musical guest at the gala.  She recently released her fifth studio album, Jazzbird/Songbird, which debuted in the Top 10 on the iTunes Jazz Chart.  She has performed with numerous superstar artists like Keith Urban, Josh Groban and Kenny Rogers.  And, her songs have been recorded by Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn and Lady Antebellum.  But the song closest to her heart is "A House - A Home" which was inspired by Habitat for Humanity.

Since its beginning in 2002, Habitat for Humanity has built almost one home a year, but the organization is hoping to now build two homes a year.  They also hope to help at least 20 current homeowners with home repairs.

"Build Hope" Gala 2015 will feature Wilson's music, as well as dinner, drinks and a silent auction.  To learn more, please click here.
