Bank of Utah’s 13 branches and mortgage loan offices are accepting donations of cash, diapers, clothes and other baby items from April 9 to May 2, as part of its second annual Shower Them With Love project. Bank of Utah will then deliver the donations to nine local charities just in time for Mother’s Day, May 11.

“Our bank employees have their fingers on the pulse of the needs of the communities in which they serve,” said Scott H. Parkinson, senior vice president of marketing and communications for Bank of Utah. “With Mother’s Day coming up the first part of May, it seemed like the perfect time to shower struggling new moms and moms-to-be with gifts of clothing and supplies for their babies. We had a wonderful response to our first shower project last July, and we hope the community will again join us in donating baby items this Mother’s Day season.”

People wishing to participate may drop off donations at any of Bank of Utah’s branches and mortgage offices in Tremonton, Logan, Providence, Brigham City, Ogden, Roy, Layton, Salt Lake City, Sandy, South Towne, Price, Orem and St. George.

Items most requested by partnering charities include:
