Man robs First Utah Bank in Sandy

SANDY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A suspect has not been found after walking into the First Utah Bank at 11015 South State Street in Sandy armed and demanding cash.

Friday afternoon at approximately 1 p.m., the male passed a note to the teller indicating that he had a gun while also demanding money. He took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving on foot. No weapons were displayed or seen.

The suspect was described as a white male, 30-40 years of age, 5'8" and of a medium build. He was wearing a dark suit with a blue button-up shirt and a multi-colored tie. He was also wearing a black eye patch over his right eye. There was a distinct scar across the male's forehead near the right eye. The suspect had close cut reddish-blonde hair that was balding. He also had a goatee and mustache.
