SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The Utah Animal Advocacy Foundation rescued a puppy with a neurological disability, but now he needs your help getting a wheelchair.

Frankie, a young schnauzer, has a hard time walking very far without toppling over. Despite his struggle to walk, he loves to play with toys and other animals.

Mary Jo Korb, spokesperson for the UAAF tells ABC4 that the dog does not realize he has a disability and seems to enjoy life the way it is.

Frankie does have a toy car he uses as a way to help him walk, but he needs a doggie wheelchair to function properly.

"He's just like any other dog, he just needs a little bit more," said Korb.

To help Frankie get a wheelchair call 801-809-0602 or visit www.uaaf.org.
