SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Police in the Salt Lake City suburb of Murray are investigating their response to a domestic violence call that came two hours before a woman was found shot to death.
Murray police detective Jeff Maglish says they have identified the victim as 25-year-old Shantelle Reid.
Maglish says Reid's body was found after police were called for a second time Monday to the home where 31-year-old Ryan Randy Robinson lived with his parents. Police initially responded a few hours earlier but say they had no probable cause to enter the residence. The woman was killed after they left. It is being investigated as a homicide.
Robinson was shot by police after fleeing the home. He remained in stable condition.
A message left at the home where Robinson was staying wasn't returned Tuesday.
