US Bank location robbed, Police seek suspect

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) -- South Salt Lake Police are looking for the man who robbed a US Bank location.

On Thursday, at 5:00 P.M. the US Bank located at 2714 South 300 West was robbed by a male suspect.

The suspect handed the bank employee a note demanding cash and said “he had a gun”. No weapon was seen or brandished during the robbery.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running westbound on 2700 South. No vehicle was seen.

The suspect was described as: male, possibly Polynesian, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches, 180 pounds, medium build, with black hair pulled back in pony tail, and goatee facial hair. He was wearing a black and white baseball cap, white athletic warm-up jacket and blue denim pants.

Police are trying to identify the male suspect in the photos.
