OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) -- Three people were hurt after being hit in an intersection in Ogden.

Police say two elderly women and a 12-year-old girl were trying to cross an intersection at 2400 and Washington Boulevard when they were struck by a car, just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday night.

They were struck by a 1999 Isuzu pickup truck that was southbound on Washington Boulevard.

The group was in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.

The two women were critically injured in the incident.

The 12-year-old was taken to Primary Children's Medical Center and is currently listed in stable condition.

The incident is under investigation but police say it does not appear that the driver was under the influence.
