Ten horses found dead in Magna died of dehydration

MAGNA, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) -Investigators have confirmed 10 horses found dead in a field in Magna in July died of dehydration.

The horses were found in a private, fenced-off field near Pleasant Green Cmetery.

Investigators are now considering animal cruelty charges against the horses' owner.

Kennecott Utah Copper owns the land where the horses were found.

But that company leases it to Erda Livestock.
