DAYBREAK, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - Police think they know who caused more than $5,000 in vandalism damage at Daybreak.

The two suspects, believed to be teenagers were caught by surveillance cameras as they spray painted obscene, racist and homophobic graffiti on model homes, signs and construction equipment.

South Jordan police released surveillance images to get the public's help.

“Our detectives have had some really positive leads that they're following. They believe they know who these two suspects are but right now they're seeking to find them and talk to them to get some information from them and see if these are in fact the suspects,” said Sgt. Sam Winkler with South Jordan Police Department.

The suspects could be charged with felony vandalism and could face jail time as well as fines and restitution.
