Overnight car chase leads to one arrest, one suspect on the loose

MIDVALE, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - One suspect is in jail and another is on the loose after a car chase in Midvale late Thursday night.

Police say they got a tip that led them to an alleged drug dealer and and when they spotted the car, the driver took off. Police followed the car but terminated the chase when the suspect swerved into oncoming traffic. 

Officers later found the car abandoned near 18th East and Fort Union Blvd. The two suspects inside had split up but police caught the passenger. They say he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was booked into Salt Lake County Jail.

The driver is still missing and police are trying to find him. He is described as caucasian with a shaved head and tattoos on his neck. If you have any information, please call police.
