LOSS board member speaks about support for those left behind by suicide

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - At #5 per capita, Utah's suicide rate is among the highest in the nation.

Often times, those affected by suicide are left with only questions and no support.

According to LOSS, a support group for those left behind by suicide founded by May Bradley, every 14 minutes someone takes their own life.

Every 15 minutes that person's friends, family and loved ones are left to make sense of the tragedy. Resources for those who have lost a loved one to suicide are scarce, largely due to stigma.

Blair Nastasi, a Utah mom and LOSS board member, explained how the group is reaching out to those in need.
