SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - There are 5 very excited children at Shriners Hospital tonight.
They all got customized bikes this afternoon that help them get around despite their disabilities, making a huge difference in their lives.
"This will be really fantastic for her to just be with her peers and do the same things they're doing," Cheryl Becerra, mother of Sophia Becerra, told Good4Utah.
These special bikes come from the generosity of local car enthusiasts who held a kids charity car show last month at Midvale City Park. They brought in a check Sunday for almost 28 thousand dollars.
