MAGNA, Utah (Good 4 Utah) - Two homes in Magna, just three miles apart from each other are broken into early Friday morning.
The two are unrelated, but in one case the homeowner busted them and discovered more than she bargained for. Unified police say the home invasion happened just after 3 a.m. The homeowner says she was shocked by the discovery. It happened at 8925 west 2800 south. The owner told police she found the man and woman in a rather compromising position and although they broke into the home, police only arrested them for trespassing because they never tried to steal anything.
Just an hour and a half before, a separate home invasion occurred just 3 miles away this one totally unrelated. Police say two juveniles were arrested for breaking into a home at 7341 west Copperview Drive in Magna. They say a man came home around 1:30 a.m. and found the two juveniles stealing his guns. The suspects ran off but were quickly stopped in their tracks by police.
The two juveniles tried denying they had any part in the crime, but, the owner identified the two of them and unified police took them into custody.
