WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 UTAH) - A man escaped with no injuries after his car collided with a train. The accident happened in West Valley City near 4400 South and 6000 West.

The railroad crossing in the area has no lights, just a yield sign for drivers. Police say the man was distracted and didn't see the train as it was closing in. The train clipped the back of the car and damaged it, but the driver was not hurt.
