OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 Utah)---A woman was hit and killed while crossing the street with her 8-year-old granddaughter Saturday night.

Ogden Police Lt. Steve Zaccardi said, around 9 p.m., the 48-year-old woman and her granddaughter were walking east across Harrisville Rd. attempting to get home after visiting a store in the area when she was hit by a midsize SUV.
