LAKE POWELL, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The Kane County Sheriff's Office said the body of a 21-year-old woman was found on Wednesday afternoon and officials continued the search for a second woman in the area.

Kane County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Alan Alldredge told ABC 4 News the women are both from Turkey and were working in the area.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. Wednesday the women told co-workers they were going swimming. Approximately 45 minutes later a boater spotted a 21-year-old woman floating face down in the water in the Croppy Cove area north of Bullfrog Marina.

Alldredge said the National Park Service, a Kane County Search and Rescue team, a Lake Powell dive team and a Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter were all utilized in the search for the second woman.

A former co-worker told ABC 4 the two women were working at the marina for the summer, and that they were, "...two of the nicest people you've ever met."

The women's identities were not released, pending notification of their families.

Authorities do not suspect foul play, but are treating the case as a homicide until it can be ruled out.
