SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (ABC 4 Utah)- The South Jordan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a male suspect wanted for two robberies at the South Jordan Maverik gas station.

Police say the man first entered the Maverick located at 10419 S. 2700 W. on Jan. 14th wearing a dark colored hoodie and bandana to conceal his face. The man then pulled a handgun from his waist band and demanded cash from the clerk. He left on foot after receiving the money.

Four days later on Jan. 18th, the same male suspect entered the Maverick again. This time he was wearing a navy and orange knit hat with a bandana to hide his identity. The suspect again demanded cash from this clerk but did not show a weapon. He left the store after receiving money and cartons of Camel brand cigarettes, Sgt. Larimie Lancaster of the SJPD said in a press release.

Anyone with information is asked to call the South Jordan Police Department at 801-840-4000. Police say the suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous.
