Jazz sign power forward Trevor Booker to 2-year deal

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Sports) - The Utah Jazz have signed former Washington Wizards power forward Trevor Booker to a 2-year, $10-million free agent contract.

Booker, 26, is considered a prolific rebounder and solid defender, who should bring a physical presence to the Jazz front court.

Booker has played his entire 4-year career with the Wizards. Last season, he averaged 6.8 points and 5.3 rebounds in just over 21 minutes per game.

A 6-8, 240-pounder, Booker was the 23rd overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft out of Clemson. He is a career 53.4% shooter from the field.
