Historic Neyland Stadium will be packed for Utah State-Tennessee game

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (ABC 4 Sports) - The legendary Neyland Stadium will be packed Sunday night as Tennessee hosts Utah State in what could be one of the more significant games in Aggie history.

A sold out crowd of 102,455 is expected, which would be the largest crowd to ever see a Utah State game. Romney Stadium in Logan holds just 25,513, less than one-fourth of the capacity at Tennessee.

When Neyland Stadium is filled, it becomes the 7th largest city in the state of Tennessee and is one of the true cathedrals of college football.

The Volunteers have won 80 percent of its home games dating back to its opening in 1921, and they have gone 17 straight years with least one crowd of 100,000 or more.
