SALT LAKE CITY, (ABC 4 Utah) – A famous doctor jumps into action Saturday morning after a runner collapses.

Dr. Mehmet Oz had just finished the USANA Champions for Change 5K when he saw the man fall to the ground.

The runner was unable to breathe and had liquid coming from his lungs, when Dr. Oz dropped to his knees and attended to him.

He was later stabilized at the hospital.

Dr. Oz posted a picture on his Facebook page after checking up on the man a little later from his hospital room.

The initial diagnosis was heat stroke with a possible heart arrhythmia.
