SALT LAKE CITY, (ABC 4 Utah) – Documents revealing what investigators took when searching the home to two former attorney’s general have been unsealed.

From them we learn agents took thousands of dollars in cash, electronic devices, financial documents and more.

"The search warrant and affidavits speak for themselves, they outline the continuing investigation that is going on," said Salt Lake County District Attorney, Sim Gill.

Those documents have been unsealed, giving us a look at what investigators took from the homes of John Swallow, Mark Shurtleff and former Swallow campaign staffer, Renae Cowley.

The warrants itemize each piece of evidence seized during the raids on June 2, 2014.

From Swallow’s home there are three cash entries totaling $10,200, flash drives, journals, financial documents and more.

From Shurtleff's home agents took electronic devices, campaign documents and a pay stub, among other things.

The items taken from Cowley's house include computers, cell phones and a plane ticket.

"There are certain allegations of criminal wrong doing that we are trying to rule in, or rule out and we're trying to gather all the supporting material that we can to be able to reach a position to say charges are going to be filed, or charges not going to be filed," said Gill.

Allegations that include bribery, extortion and campaign finance violations.

"I would just caution people not to read too much into it and not be speculative. The assumption of innocence applies to everyone, including the individuals whose houses were searched," said Gill.

Gill says he and his partners in the investigation are trying to wrap this up as quickly as possible.

He says they are towards the end of what they are trying to do.
