Provo Buzz
PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – Greeting cards celebrating same-sex marriage were yanked from the shelves at the Brigham Young University bookstore Wednesday.

The cards were reportedly put on the shelves by the Hallmark Company.

The bookstore staff removed the cards once they found photos that began circulating online.

Todd Hollingshead, media relations manager for BYU, says this was a situation in which the vendor was not familiar with the school’s policy.

BYU's policies say "homosexual behavior is inappropriate and violates the Honor Code."
