Boy missing from Tooele found in California

TOOELE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A boy who was reported missing and endangered from Tooele has been located safe in California, according to Tooele Police.

Noah Gardner was believed to be in the company of his mother and was considered "endangered."

Police say 41-year-old Gina Elizabeth Cross was deemed unfit and was supposed to give her boy to relatives, but instead she took off.

Police say Cross was also supposed to appear in court in Davis County for a custody hearing regarding her 5-year-old son.

When she didn’t show, the court awarded custody of Noah to her uncle and aunt.
