SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - AAA is helping bring holiday meals to the hungry in Salt Lake City.

On the back of AAA yellow tow trucks, AAA Utah delivered 136 turkeys to non-profits in the city Tuesday.

The turkeys will be prepared into meals to serve Utah's hungry and shut in's, allowing the needy to participate in and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

AAA Utah spokesperson, Rolayne Fairclough says it's a really good project for the company. "Everyone involved feels great to do this!," said Fairclough. "We take a great sense of pride knowing that we are able to help this way."

Over the period of two days, AAA will deliver more than 10 tons of turkey to 26 non-profits throughout Northern California, Nevada, and Utah.
