CACHE COUNTY (ABC 4 Utah)- One person is dead and three others are injured after an accident in
Utah Highway Patrol say 18-year-old Ryker Dattage from Hyde Park,Utah was driving northbound on US-89 just south of the Franklin Basin turn-off when, for some unknown reason, he drifted to the left into the southbound lane. A gold Ford F-350 pulling a boat on a trailer driven by 57-year-old Bruce Wilson from Hooper, Utah was in the southbound lane. Wilson tried to move to the right to avoid a collision but was struck head on.
Dattage sustained extremely serious injuries and died at the scene.
Wilson (driver of the Ford) was airlifted from the scene in serious condition. Two passengers in the Ford, 14-year-old Morgan Wright, and 12-year-old Ethan Fowers from Hooper, Utah were transported to Logan Regional Hospital by ground.
