SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 Utah) –The Department of Homeland Security is teaming up with the U.S Election Assistance Commission to address election security and one Utahn is playing a key role in that aid.
Weber County Clerk and Auditor Ricky Hatch stops by Inside Utah Politics to talk about how he got involved in this mission and the importance of cybersecurity.
"The biggest threat is confidence, and the Russians knew that when they tried to hack into 21 different state election systems" Hatch said.
