Utah woman saw plane go down in Costa Rica

Her husband was one of the first on the scene

SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah) - Dawn Wolfe was on vacation with her family, sitting at a restaurant when she saw the plane go down. At first, she thought it was doing an arial maneuver, but quickly realized it was headed into the ground. 

Wolfe said, "The plane seemed low, but we were watching it and all of a sudden it turned sideways and literally crashed into the mountain sideways, wing down." View the cell phone footage she took of the incident in the video above.

The plane was a Cessna Grand Caravan from the company Nature Air. It was carrying 12 passengers, none survived. 

Officials released this statement, "The government of Costa Rica deeply regrets the death of 10 American passengers and 2 Costa Rican pilots."
