SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Utah’s travel and tourism industry continues to grow at record levels.
A recent study from the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute at the University of Utah shows travelers and tourists spent $8.4 billion in Utah in 2016.
That generated $1.23 billion in state and local revenue.
The study also shows that Utah national parks had the largest year over year visitor growth since 1976 with 10.1 million visits.
