Body found in Grand Canyon believed to be Utah man

GRAND CANYON, Ariz. (ABC4 Utah) – National Park Service rangers recovered a body that is believed to be a Utah man who was reported missing in October.

The body was found Friday, November 10 below the rim on the Rim Trail between Pipe Creek and Mather Point.

Officials believe the body belongs to Michael Legus, 39, of Tooele. A friend reported him missing on October 31.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
