Utah K9 team helping to raise money for police nationwide

Lehi officer and his K9 partner featured in calendar

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 Utah) A Utah K9 team - has been selected for a nationwide calendar that raises money for police officers and their four legged partners.

A few months ago we featured Corporal Levi Lewis and his K9 partner Onyx in our ABC4 UTAH Behind the Badge report. Lewis and Onyx have been partners for two years in the Lehi Police Department. Onyx is a Dutch Shepherd and while he is all business at work - he is friendly and loving when "off duty."

The photo from the "Vested Interest in K9's calendar comes courtesy of Rich Vintage Photography. You can see it by playing the video to this story. Vested Interest's President Sandy Marcal says one-hundred percent of the proceeds from the 2018 calendars will be used to provide equipment and services for law enforcement K9s nationwide.

Congratulations to Corporal Lewis and K9 Onyx.
