Missing White City toddler found safe

UPDATE: (12: p.m. Saturday) Unified Police have confirmed they found the missing toddler and he is safe. 

"Detectives are now with the missing 22-month-old boy and he is unharmed and safe. The detectives are having the father evaluated. Please cancel Missing and Endangered notifications," posted to the Unified Police Twitter.

UPDATE: (9 a.m. Saturday) 22-month-old Elias Valdez is still missing from his home at 967 E Platinum Way. The families concern is the documented mental state of the father, making this an urgent matter.

WHITE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) - Unified police have launched a search for a missing 22-month-old boy Friday night. 

Police say Elias Valdez, was picked up by his father Blas Valdez Friday morning.  The boy was supposed to be returned by 5 p.m., but the pair never returned. Elias is missing from the area of 900 East 9900 South. 

Valdez was last seen driving a light blue 2010 Volkswagen CC with license plate W798SZ.
