SPRINGVILLE, Utah (News4Utah) – A Springville woman died after she was hit by a passing motorist Tuesday night.
Deputies with Utah County Sheriff’s Office say the crash happened at 1910 East Evergreen Road just after 7 p.m. The area is a narrow two-lane road that is not well lit.
The woman, identified as Codi Lambresi, 42, of Springville, was carrying a flashlight, but she was wearing dark clothing and the driver was not able to see her.
After she was struck, Lambresi was rushed to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo where she later died.
Investigators say speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in the crash.
