Friday officials said a wildfire ignited in Summit County Friday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 1:00 pm. near the junction of SR 248 and US 40.
The fire was contained around 4 p.m. It had burned 1 acre. No structures were damaged.
Officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation, but it appears to be related to high winds and downed power lines.
