Ski Utah previews 2017-2018 ski season, Park City Resort sets open date

11/15/2017 - SALT LAKE CITY, Utah(ABC4 News) Get ready Utah! Ski season is just days away, with Park City Resort announcing they'll be open for Thanksgiving. Paul Marshall, Director of Communications at Ski Utah, joined Emily Clark to talk about the 2017-2018 ski season.

Marshall says much of what makes Utah's skiing so fantastic is the proximity of its 14 resorts and the unique qualities and variety of each one. Last year, Utah earned another record-breaking season of 4.58 million visitors, outdoing its previous record by 3%. With winter just over 30 days away, Marshall says Ski Utah is excited for another successful season of new offerings.

There are more ski pass options than ever before, says Marshall. They will be flexible, perk-filled passes. This collection of season passes not only grants you skiing and riding access to Utah's resorts, but skiing privileges across the country as well.
